Chris Bienkiewicz

Chris earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy College after completing a Master of Science in Athletic Training with honors at Seton Hall University. Early in his career, he specialized in collegiate and high school athletics, with a strong focus on injury prevention, concussion management, return-to-sport testing, and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Prior to joining the CEM team, Chris gained extensive orthopedic experience as an athletic trainer with the New York Red Bulls organization and several NCAA Division II colleges throughout the greater New York City area. His work included leading injury-prevention workshops, developing emergency action plans for large-scale sporting events, and assisting orthopedic surgeons as a physician extender during pre- and post-operative care.

As a physical therapist, Chris has further expanded his expertise in outpatient orthopedics and cancer rehabilitation. This diverse clinical background allows him to deliver individualized, comprehensive care that supports optimal recovery and a safe return to sport, work, and daily activities.

Committed to continued professional development, Chris is dry needling certified in New Jersey, Cert. CN, and is proficient in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, taping techniques, injury and fall prevention, and a global approach to movement-based rehabilitation. He is also able to communicate with non-English-speaking patients in Polish and Spanish to enhance patient outcomes and accessibility of care.

Originally from North Jersey, Chris enjoys spending time with his family outside of the clinic. His interests include playing soccer and tennis, running, skiing, weightlifting, and exploring different cultures.
