Whitney Halligan, PT, DPT
Whitney Halligan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong
background in outpatient rehabilitation, treating individuals of all ages
and activity levels. She has extensive experience addressing a wide
range of conditions, including arthritis, joint replacements, disc
herniations, labral tears, scoliosis, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke
recovery. Her clinical practice emphasizes hands-on manual therapy,
incorporating joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques to help
patients move comfortably and confidently.
Whitney takes a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to care, focusing
on identifying and treating the root cause of each patient’s
condition—not just the symptoms. She creates a warm, upbeat, and
supportive environment grounded in open communication, helping
patients feel comfortable and engaged throughout their recovery process.
Whitney earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn
State University, where she was a standout gymnast, team captain, and
All-American. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy
degree at Mercy College and is currently advancing her career with
specialized coursework in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation.
Outside the clinic, Whitney enjoys staying active and spending time with
her husband and their two energetic young boys. Her blend of clinical
expertise, athletic background, and compassionate patient-centered care
makes her a trusted partner in helping individuals restore function,
resilience, and confidence in their daily lives.
