Julia Hanna, PT, DPT 

Julia Hanna, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist in the state of New Jersey who is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. A proud Polish and Egyptian clinician, she brings cultural awareness and inclusivity to her practice. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercy University and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Montclair State University. 

Julia’s clinical experience includes orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular, and post-surgical rehabilitation through her training at Alliance Orthopedics, Kessler Rehabilitation, and Hospital for Special Surgery. She has worked collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, chiropractors, occupational therapists, and physician assistants to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care. Julia emphasizes movement analysis, functional restoration, and patient education to promote safe and efficient return to daily activities, work demands, and athletic performance. 

In addition to her clinical work, Julia participated in research at the Mandell MS Center titled “Lower Limb Strength Differences Between Persons with Multiple Sclerosis With and Without Vascular Comorbidities.” This research was accepted and presented at the February 2026 Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) conference, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional development. 

Outside of the clinic, Julia maintains an active lifestyle and is currently training for her first half marathon and HYROX race in the summer of 2026. Her dedication to performance and endurance training allows her to better understand the physical and mental demands faced by athletes and active individuals throughout rehabilitation. 

Julia is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and AED. She remains dedicated to lifelong learning and advancing her clinical expertise to provide the highest standard of care.
