Robert Manley

Robert Manley, MPT is a board certified and licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, specializing in sports performance and rehabilitation, injury prevention, orthopedics, strength and conditioning, and youth movement development. He concentrates on Manual Therapy, utilizing hands-on techniques including joint and soft tissue mobilization for the spine and extremities, and is also a specialist in The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnostics and Therapy (MDT) promoting wellness for the neck and back. Robert is also knowledgeable in vestibular and TMJ diagnoses.

Robert’s philosophy is focused on applying treatment beyond the symptoms; by identifying the root cause of pain or discomfort, correcting movement discrepancies, and providing appropriate treatment plans with emphasis on patient education to restore, develop, and strengthen functional mobility.

Robert received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University, studying under Dr. Russell Woodman. He is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the APTA Sports Physical Therapy section, and the US Squash Association.  Robert is a dedicated athlete, he has played Professional Squash and was sponsored by Wilson Sports, he also played basketball, baseball, soccer and continues to master golf.  He taught Kinesiology, Strength and Function in the Physical Therapy Graduate Program at Mercy College.
